Mediator Coachella Divorce Help

Many family law matters, such as divorce and custody issues, are resolved outside court, often through mediation. In mediation, a neutral third party, called a mediator, helps the parties come to an agreement about how to resolve the issues that brought them to court. Such issues include child custody, visitation, divorce, property settlement and division of debts and assets.

A Mediator is usually highly skilled and highly trained to become a mediator.   The Mediator does not take the side of either party, or represent either party. The mediator helps the parties work through the issues in their particular case.  Often mediation is ordered by the court.  Other times, the parties want to try to resolve their problems before going to court.  Mediation gives both parties the ability to come to a mutually acceptable agreement.

Once an agreement is reached, then the mediator usually reduces the agreement in writing.  Mediation can be held in person, over the phone, via skype or other video conferencing means.

We have over 30 years experience in the Coachella divorce mediation realm of things and have helped thousands of couples come to a peaceful and amicable divorce.  The last thing anyone wants is to add on mental and financial stress to their lives.  With divorce mediation this helps simplify things because both parties are represented by the mediator so we don’t take sides.  Each side gets a chance to communicate the needs and wants, and also to freely discuss important matters such as children, financial support, property division, and much more!

Coachella Divorce Mediator

All divorces have various issues that need to be worked out, some can be very complex and others can be straight to the point.  The more the couple is able to communicate in an open manner the easier it is to finalize the decree to submit to the courts.

Many clients come to us not only for our experience, but because its very cost-effective compared to a traditional lawyer route where costs can exceed $20,000 and higher for each party depending on the lawyers representing each party.  This also leaves the final ruling to the judge, and this could possibly not go in one or the others favor.  Mediation avoids this and doesn’t bring the courts in to the process which can be cumbersome and very stressful.

We proudly serve San Diego couples and look forward to helping them sort through issues peacefully and helping individuals move on with their lives.  Closure is a wonderful thing, especially when both parties come to a final agreement.
